Year 1

Hello Year One and those who care for us at home,

In Year One this week we have been talking about ways which we belong. We have thought about the ways we can belong to groups, religions, special people and in other ways. Who do you belong to? Where do you feel like you belong? Year One had some lovely ideas such as themselves, school, their brother, their bedroom. What beautiful reflections.
We have also been thinking about ways which we are proud. Could you take a moment this weekend to think of ways you have felt proud this week? Families included - how did you feel proud this week?

Next week we are going to be learning about moving pictures in DT, animals and humans in Science and even more writing activities including Sunny the Meerkat.

In your bag, you have your reading book. Please bring these into school on Monday and Thursday to be changed.
Next week we are back to normal with PE on MONDAY so please where your PE kit.
